Breast implants come in two main types: silicone and saline. Both are FDA-approved and safe, but they differ in feel, appearance, and the way they are placed.

Silicone Implants

Silicone implants are filled with a cohesive gel that closely mimics the feel of natural breast tissue. They are the most popular choice and tend to ripple less than saline. Regular monitoring is recommended to ensure integrity.

Saline Implants

Saline implants are filled with sterile saltwater and can be adjusted during placement. They require smaller incisions and any rupture is immediately noticeable. Some patients find them slightly less natural in feel.
